Plans to expand the Miller Motors auto dealership moved unanimously through the City of Burlington Plan Commission Tuesday night.

Miller Motors and owner Chris Miller are in the process of finalizing the purchase of property located between the current dealership and Fox River Plaza.

When that deal is finalized at the end of the month, Miller will tear down the existing structures and expand the parking lot to display more vehicles.

Still to be finalized are exact plans for drains and lighting.

“There’s a lot of moving parts,” said Tom Stelling of Stelling and Associates, which is working with Miller Motors.

  • The Plan Commission also approved the move of Enterprise Rent A Car to the current Quick Lube building on the Lynch GM Superstore property.

Currently, the car rental company is located in Lynch auto dealership. Company officials want to relocate the car rental to the external building.

A site plan for lighting will still need to be submitted, and renovations will be made to the current facility.

  • In addition, the commission approved an extraterritorial certified survey map from Mark and Dawn Petges to subdivide property on Crossway Road.

That request was also approved by the Town of Burlington.
