Virginia M. Boulden, 74, Burlington, died Sept. 21, 2016, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center, Milwaukee. She was born in Burlington on Jan. 12, 1942, to the late Robert and Helen (Syring) Meyer. She was a lifetime resident of Burlington, graduating from Burlington High School.
On Aug. 24, 1963, she married Donald B. Boulden at St. Charles Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1994.
She was a homemaker and mother to her four children. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and enjoyed going bargain hunting with her best friend, Janette Arnold. She enjoyed bird watching and playing cards, especially with her card club. She babysat for 50 years and was blessed to have touched the lives of over 700 kids over the years.
Survivors include her children, Kim (Todd) Hardesty, Jacqueline (David) Morrow, Michelle Boulden; grandchildren, Megan (fiancé, Joseph Rasmusson) Morrow, Dale Morrow, Richard Jones, Louie Hardesty, Sammy Hardesty; brothers, Robert (Mary) Meyer and Richard (Karen) Meyer; brothers-in-law, Robert Boulden and Harold (Marie) Boulden; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Chad Boulden.
Services are Friday, Oct. 7, at 6:15 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Visitation for family and friends is Oct. 7 at the funeral home from 3-6 p.m. Virginia and Chad will be laid to rest at St. Charles Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m.
