CROP Hunger Walk set

Area churches will gather on Sunday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church and at 1 p.m., for the Waterford/Wind Lake CROP Hunger Walk.

Walk 1, 3, or 5 miles to help those in need. Participants will be raising awareness and funds to change the world in real and measurable ways.

CROP Hunger Walks helps communities ravaged by floods and tornadoes to recover. Church World Services receives the CROP Hunger Walk funds to help families and communities to rebuild homes, food supplies and livelihoods.

It’s important to note that 25 percent of funds raised will help St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, Norway Helping Hands Food Pantry, and Caldwell Food Pantry in their important work here in the Waterford/Wind Lake area.

Register online and begin gathering sponsors at www.cropwalkonline.org.
