IRENE A. PETRINEC

Easter Lily      Irene A. Petrinec, 75, Burlington, died peacefully Oct. 8, 2016, at her home. She was born in Chicago on May 31, 1941, to the late Bella and Anna (LaFonte) Ferencz. She grew up in Chicago where she graduated from high school.

On Oct. 4, 1957, she married Richard Petrinec in Chicago. They lived in Chicago for many years before moving to Bristol to start their own business, Bristol Bindery. Irene worked in administration for the bindery for many years before retiring. Richard preceded her in death in June 1993.

In 2006 Irene settled in Burlington. She enjoyed live theatre, boating, swimming, and fishing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake and her favorite Boston Terrier, Keisha.

Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Kwitkowski and Audrey (Tyler) Rothbauer; grandchildren, Richard (fiancée Ashley McCarthy) Kwitkowski, Douglas Kwitkowski, Janay Irene Rothbauer; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her daughter, Regina; sister, Lorraine; brother, William and dear friend, Mary Ann.

Should family and friends desire, contributions may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Services for Irene are Thursday, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Visitation for family and friends is Oct. 13, from 3 p.m., until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
