JEFFREY J. BRAU

      Jeffrey J. Brau, 64, Burlington, died peacefully May 2, 2017, at his home with his family by his side.

He was born in Kenosha on Feb. 26, 1953, to the late Robert and Doris (Shockley) Brau. He grew up and spent most of his life in the Racine and Kenosha area. He served in the U.S. Army’s 101st Airborne from 1972 to 1975.

Jeff was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to fish, hunt and ride his Harley. His favorite pastimes were always spent with his family and friends. His sense of humor and personality always left an impression.

He married Jerilyn Kimball on Jan. 19, 1974.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Timothy (Lauma) Brau and Johnathon (Selena) Brau; grandchildren, Samantha (Dustin) Morris, Brandon, Scott, Johnny and Stefans; siblings, Robert (Susan) Brau, Kathleen Sanders, Valorie (Monte) Drinkwine and Kevin (Val) Brau; many loving cousins; nieces and nephews.

He was further preceded in death by his brothers, Darryl and Mitchell Brau; his mother and father-in-law, Joyce Pawlukiewicz and L. Rex Kimball; and a very special friend, Chuck Fry.

Services are Saturday, May 6, at 2 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Rochester Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on May 6, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
