MARIAN L. ROBERS

      Marian L. Robers, 76, Burlington, died unexpectedly May 11, 2017, at her home. She was born Aug. 17, 1940, in Burlington, to the late Louis and Bernice (Schneider) Woyak. She was a lifetime resident of the Burlington area, where she attended St. Joseph Grade School in Lyons, and graduated from Burlington High School.

On July 8, 1961 at St. Joseph’s Church in Lyons, she married Gerald Felix Robers. They made their home in Burlington where they raised their family.

She worked at Lavelle Industries, was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and volunteered at Burlington Hospital Gift Shop. She loved to play dominoes, do volunteer work, shop, go camping, and in her younger years took great pride in getting a good sun tan. Her favorite times were spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Survivors include her husband of over 55 years; children, Scott D. (Lorie) Robers, Steven J. (Debbie) Robers and Russell A. (Kathy) Robers; grandchildren, Jessica (Travis) Albrant, Jake Robers, Justin Robers, Brittney (Tanner) Burke, Heather (Joe) Cattani and Erik Schmeling; great-grandchildren, Avery Lucas, Chelsia Lucas, Dexter Albrant, Jayden Albrant and Olivia Burke; siblings, Donna (Wayne) Volbrecht, Vic (Judy) Woyak, Lois (Bill) Immerfall, Sharon Northcutt, Bill (Judy) Woyak, Elaine (Charlie) Johns, Rita (Daryl) Bertolino, Jean (Ed) McKnight and Lori (Tim) Merrill; sister-in-law, Eileen Robers; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Services were May 15, at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, served the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church.
