Grace J. Torres, 75, Kenosha, died May 18, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 14, 1942, to the late William and Clarissa (Alexan) Scott. Her early life was spent in Rochester.
She graduated from Rochester Ag School and later went to UW–Parkside to earn her Bachelors Degree. She worked data entry for over 40 years at JC Penny. Grace was a member of Homemakers, a 4-H Leader and a member of multiple Quilting groups. She enjoyed reading and quilting, but more than anything she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, John (Lori) Torres, William (Lyndee) Torres and Richard (Tracy) Torres; grandchildren, Jessica (Josh) Bankenbush, Kacey (Steve Ferlindes) Torres, Matthew Torres, Melynda (Richard) Villarreal, Theresa (James) Lobbestael, Michael Torres, Timothy Torres, Abbie (Dan) Ramon, Alexander Torres, Nora (Tim Scott) Torres and Andrew Torres; great-grandchildren, Jameson and Silas Ramon, Adian, Raelyn, Liam and Ezra Villarreal and Julia Bankenbush; her sisters, Sally (Richard) Rubach and Sue Ehlen.
She was further preceded in death by her brother-in-law, David.
Funeral services are May 23, at 11 a.m., at Polnasek-Daniels Funeral Home, 908 11th Ave., Union Grove. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 10 a.m., until 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Grove Memorial Cemetery.
