Marilyn J. (Albrecht) Krebs-Zubrod, 77, Oregon, died May 20, 2017, at Agrace HospiceCare with family by her side. She was born in Burlington to the late Betsy Ross Stardy and Walter Albert Albrecht.
She married Thomas Wilson Krebs on Feb. 14, 1959, in Waukesha. After Tom died, Marilyn married Richard E. Zubrod on March 28, 2009, in Mukwonago.
Marilyn always gave of her time and talent to family and friends. She was an avid quilter, enjoyed planting flowers and cooking, but most of all she loved taking care of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Dick; daughters, Brenda (Roly) Henkel, Betsy (Larry) McGuire, Rebecca (Tim) Higgins, Bonnie (Tim) Bartha and Beth (James) Smith; grandchildren, Jhon, Becca, Allie, Steph, Megan, Patrick, Mason, Maxwell, Joey, Ben, Thomas, and Teagan; great-grandchildren, Makenda and Michael; siblings, Wally, Bill, Karen and Steve; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 625 E. Netherwood, Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 24, with the Rev. Paul Marquart presiding. Burial will be at Graves Cemetery after the service. Visitation is at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. Gunderson Oregon Funeral & Cremation Care is serving the family.
