PHILIP ISFERDING

Philip “Bee” Isferding, 77, of Burlington, died Oct. 3, 2011, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, following a four-year battle with lung cancer.

He was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Racine County, to the late Edward R. and Dorothy M. (Carpenter) Isferding.

Bee spent his early life and received his education in Burlington. He served in the U.S. Army from 1956 until 1958.

He married Rose Marie Miller on July 31, 1958, in Oklahoma. Together they made their home in Burlington. She preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2005.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for JW Peters, retiring in 1993 after 34 years. He enjoyed sitting on his patio enjoying the weather and traveling, especially to Alaska. Most of all he loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and great-grandson.

Survivors include his children, Gy, Kim (Bruce) Nolan-Biedrzycki, Terri (Mike Gardner) and Michael, all of Burlington, grandchildren; Stacy, Jayme (Robert IV) Schotanus, Kevin Nolan, Kristin (Adam) Silah, Nicole, Stephanie Davis, Austin and Bo, and by a great-grandson, Baby Bob; nephew, Scott and a niece, Tracy.

He was further preceded in death by his brother, Dave.

As per his wishes, no services will be held.
