Watch School Board forum webcast here tonight at 7 p.m.

The Burlington Standard Press hosts a forum for candidates running for local School Board on Monday, March 26, at 7 p.m. at Veterans Terrace. Those who can’t attend in person will be able to watch a webcast of the forum through this website.

The four candidates – incumbents John Anderson and Susan Kessler, and challengers Philip Ketterhagen and Roger Koldeway – have been invited to share their platforms with the audience and answer a series of topical questions. Only Koldeway has said he won’t be able to attend. The other three have confirmed that they will participate.

The forum is open to the public and audience members will have a chance to submit questions for consideration. Those who wish to submit questions ahead of time may email them to Editor Ed Nadolski at [email protected]. Questions must be phrased for all candidates.

The Standard Press has partnered with WIN Media to produce a live webcast of the forum.

The webcast will appear in the media player below.

Editor’s note, 7 p.m.: We will be starting a few minutes late due to technical difficulties. Please stand by.

Editor’s note, 7:15 p.m.: The webstream is not working properly. We will continue working on it. However, due to time constraints, we are starting the forum. Please stay tuned.

Editor’s note (post-forum): Although the video feed from the forum could not be restored, an audio recording of a portion of the forum is available by clicking the “play” button in the media player below.

  1. It is a shame that the webcast didn’t work for those people who were unable to attend in person.

  2. We are quite upset ourselves that it has not worked out. Staff members have spent the last hour and a half trying to get it back. We apologize for the problems, and are frustrated here as well.
