Three vie for two seats on Raymond Town Board

Electors in the Town of Raymond will vote April 3 to fill two supervisory positions on the Raymond Town Board.

The two-year town board supervisor positions pay $3,800 annually.

• Incumbent Supervisor No. 3 Paul Ryan, who is running unopposed, shared candidate information, as shown below.

Ryan has served Hthree terms as a town supervisor and is president of the Raymond Storm Water Utility District.

• Incumbent Supervisor No. 4 James Phillips faces challenger Bob Slivon. Neither Phillips nor Slivon responded to requests for candidate information.

Reasons for seeking election: As the incumbent, I will continue work on budget, drainage and infrastructure issues within Raymond township.

Pressing issues facing the township: I consider these to be the completion of the Storm Water Utility District drainage plan and addressing development in the township.
