Waterford FFA alumni affiliate wins website award

The Waterford FFA alumni affiliate has been selected as a state winner, placing gold in the Wisconsin FFA alumni website award contest. The award was recently presented at the 32nd state convention in Janesville.

The contest is designed to evaluate the local affiliate’s communication ability through the Internet.

Scoring is in the areas of navigation, quality, currency of information, technical merit, originality, usefulness and design optimization.

The Waterford and other gold-rated affiliates will represent Wisconsin at the National FFA Alumni Convention being held in Indianapolis in October.

The Association is comprised of individuals of all ages, backgrounds, careers and talents. Wisconsin is home to the largest Association in the nation with more than 8,600 members and growing.

The mission is to strive to be Wisconsin’s premier agriculture education advocate with FFA alumni support in every community.  They envision their diverse, positive, community committed organization to provide resources to support youth development and leadership.
