CAROL A. ULASZEK, JOSEPH F. ULASZEK

 

Carol A. (Biskowski), Ulaszek, 65, and Joseph F. Ulaszek, 80, of South Milwaukee, passed away within a week of one another in late January 2012. She died Jan. 29, 2012 and he died Jan. 22, 2012. They had resided in Union Grove for over 30 years.

They were beloved parents, grandparents, and an aunt and uncle whose generosity knew no bounds.

Carol was a graduate of Good Counsel High School and a 1967 graduate of St. Anne’s nursing school in Chicago. A graduate of University of St. Mary of the Lake, Joseph was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1957. Also an officer in the U.S. Navy, he later left the priesthood to hold positions with the U.S. Postal Service, the Kansasville school board, and was a co-founder and accountant for a family business.

Survivors include their sons, Robert (Lisel), David (Kristen Brogdon), and Jonathan; four grandchildren; Carol’s brother, Joseph; Joe’s brother, Rich, and sister, Marianne; several sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Barbara; brother, Robert. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Ted.

A memorial service is Saturday, May 5, at 10:30 a.m., at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee. Visitation is in the atrium adjacent to the Cathedral at 9:30 a.m. Heritage Funeral Home assisted the family.
