STEVEN J. REPKA

Steven J. Repka, 46, of Burlington, passed away at St. Luke Hospital, Milwaukee, surrounded by his loving family on May 18, 2012, from a massive heart attack.

He was born in Kenosha on Jan. 12, 1966, to William and Sharon (Johnson) Repka.

He attended Kenosha area schools and was employed by R.K.W. Redi Mix Concrete in Burlington for the last 16 years and was the lead pump truck driver.

He was a big NASCAR, drag racing and Green Bay Packer fan. He was a loving husband and father and found great joy in his grandkids. Steve had a sense of  humor all his own. Generous to a fault, he preferred to listen rather than talk.

Survivors include his wife, Terri (Ellis) Repka; daughter, Stefanie; sons, Michael and Derek; mother, Sharon Repka; sisters, Patty (Jim) Collins, Pagette (Fred) Tilsner, Pam (Matthew Eddy) Farmer; brother, Timothy Repka (Jackie Collins); three grandchildren, and 15 nieces and nephews.

Steve’s last request was to donate his body to science and the Anatomy Gifts Registry in Maryland has graciously accepted his donation.

The memorial service is Thursday, May 24, at Riverwood Church, 6919 McHenry St., Burlington. The family will receive friends at 2:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 3 p.m. Immediately following the service there will be a friends and family gathering at Bushnell Park, Hwy. 142, Burlington.

In Lieu of flowers, donation to the Repka Family would be appreciated.
