Former Waterford standout returns for camp

Waterford Union High School standout and former University of Wisconsin starter RaeLin D’Alie will return to the area to run a basketball camp Aug. 3-5.

D’Alie, who led the Wolverines to a state runner-up finish in 2006 and the Badgers to the NCAA tournament her senior year, will be one of several former Badgers at the camp. Those include Jolene Anderson – one of the Badger all-time greats who is playing professionally in Turkey – Anya Covington and Teah Gant.

D’Alie is currently playing professionally in Italy and for the Italian National Team with dual citizenship.

The camp for grades 1-6 will be Aug. 4-5 from 9 a.m.-noon, with the seventh through 12th graders going from 1-4 p.m. Aug. 3-5. The sessions will be held at Burlington High School.

Cost of the camp is $95 for grades 1-6 and $135 for grades 7-12.
