Standouts for the week of Aug. 31, 2012

Male Athlete of the Week

Chad Redmer, Burlington High School football: Redmer proved to be a huge part of the BHS running attack Friday night as the Demons opened their season against Racine Horlick.

Redmer ran for 122 of BHS’s 160 yards rushing, including a touchdown, as the Demons went on to defeat Horlick 20-13.

It was the second year in a row Burlington defeated Horlick to open the season.
