DONALD J. BAUMGART

Donald J. Baumgart, 80, our wonderful, wildly talented father, passed to eternal peace Nov. 13, 2012, after a courageous fight with cancer.

A principal in the Greendale School system, a splendid actor, director with the Suburban Players of Greendale, a town supervisor for Waterford, cartoonist, multi-media artist and dear friend to many. If you knew him, you loved him for his integrity and brilliant sense of humor.

He leaves his devoted Gloria and their four children; Christopher, Susan (John), Cynthia and Stacy (Tom), his five grandchildren, and great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his second wife Sharon, and leaves her children, Russell (Janet), Randy and Lori Long and their families.

Don’s spirit will always be with us and we can be sure our hearts will be lightened; he helped us see the beauty and fun of life. We love you Dad, you will be forever missed!

The family wishes to send their heartfelt thanks to the medical staff of Burlington Memorial Hospital, Kindred Care Nursing home and Vitas Hospice for their kind and loving care.

Visitation is Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Max A. Sass and Sons Funeral Home, 8910 W. Drexel Ave., Franklin, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Additional visitation is Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Wisconsin Memorial Park-Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, from 11 a.m., until the time of committal prayers at 1 p.m. Entombment to follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

Because he so loved “da boyz” Fonzi and Vinni, memorials appreciated to Racine County Humane Society.
