With a 40-35 homecourt win over Westosha Central Tuesday, the Union Grove High School girls basketball team evened its record at 2-2 overall, and its Southern Lakes Conference season mark at 1-1.
The Bronco girls had to rally in the second half for this victory after trailing 6-5 after one quarter and 19-13 at the half.
A 14-4 margin in favor of Union Grove in the third quarter turned the game in the Broncos favor, allowing the girls to take a 27-23 lead into the final quarter.
Becca Maier was the only player on either team in double figures. She tallied 10 points, with half of her points coming at the free-throw line where she was five of nine.
