CCHS to host Vets Day ceremony

Catholic Central High School will host a Veterans Day ceremony Friday morning featuring a keynote address from Randy Miller, a U.S. Marine with 22 years service.

The ceremony begins at 9:50 a.m. in Topper Hall on the school’s State Street campus.

Miller, who served in war zones in the Middle East and Somalia, is currently a veterans service office with the Wisconsin American Legion in Milwaukee. He is also a member of local American Legion Post 79.

Here is the schedule for Friday’s ceremony released by the school:

9:50 a.m. – Prayer (Greg Groth)

9:55 – National Anthem (Erin Bittmann, Jeremy Kuta)

10:00 – Recognition of Veterans and Recognition of Dignitaries

10:05 – Introduction of Serviceman Speaker, Randy Miller

10:10 – Presentation by Serviceman Speaker, Randy Miller

10:30 – Rifle Salute with ‘Taps’ in North Courtyard

10:35 – Lunch
