In the home stretch

Work on the Main Street bridge over the Fox River in downtown Waterford is nearing its conclusion, according to officials with the state Department of Transportation. The bridge is currently slated for completion sometime in April, according to Michael Pyritz, the regional communications manager for the state agency. The rest of the Highway 20/83 reconstruction project in the village is scheduled for completion in late spring. “Mother Nature will sort of dictate that,” Pyritz said. The remaining curb, gutter and electrical work along the route will be staged to minimize traffic disruption. (Photo by Ed Nadolski)
