He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a proud 22-year volunteer for the Lyons Fire Department and City of Burlington Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him so much joy.

Lee is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Erica and Adam Schiemann, Chelsae (Hubert) Hoffman and Ricky (Crystal) Kuhnke; nine grandchildren, Neysa, AJ, Taylor, Brittany, Allyson, Tony, Piper, Devyn and Ricky III; six great-grandchildren, Carter, Bretlynn, Eros, Faye, Luna and Gemma; sister, Cathy (Richard) LaBadie; one sister-in-law and four brother-in-laws. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Luke’s Medical Center, especially Dr. Merchant and nurses, Mike and Tiara.
