SHARON Z. ENRIGHT

      Sharon Z. Enright, 89, formerly of Burlington passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019, at the Serenity House in Tomah.

Sharon was born in Burlington on July 29, 1930 to the late Isabelle and Elmer Roanhouse. She grew up and attended schools in Burlington and married Lavern “Pete” Enright on July 21, 1951. Together they raised five children and were members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Sharon was a homemaker. In 1963, she helped her husband start his own business, Enright’s Home Services, which they operated till retiring in 1985. After retiring, they spent their summers at their home on Post Lake in Elcho and winters In Avon Park, Fla. and in later years at their son’s home in Oro Valley Ariz. They had been married 50 years when her husband died in 2001.

Sharon enjoyed dancing, bingo, playing cards, casino and road trips with her cousin, Lorraine and her long-time friends. The “Crazy Party Ladies” are back together again.

In 2015, Sharon moved to Tomah where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law Tammie and Rick Newbury. She religiously watched CNN and was very vocal sharing her strong opinions regarding the current president and political climate in Washington DC.

Her mantra was “This is crazy and I’m glad I’m on my way out! “

Sharon is survived by son Terry Enright, Oro Valley Ariz.; and daughters, Debbie Redmer, Oro Valley Ariz., Tammie (Rick) Newbury, Tomah, and Kelle (Dan) Chaulklin, Cashton; brother Michael Roanhouse, Severn Park, Md. and sister-in-law Norma Roanhouse, Burlington. She is further survived by grandchildren, Eric (Emily) Newbury, Abby (Kyle) Julien, Lee Newbury, Blaine Chaulklin, Cody Chaulklin, Jennifer Chaulklin, and Brandon Chaulklin; six great grandchildren, Josie, Jack, Maddie, Skyla, Leroy, Harper; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, son Timothy Enright, grandson Kyle Redmer, brother William Roanhouse, sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol (Mike) Chojnacki, Betty (Kenny) Lenz, sister-in-law Teri Roanhouse and in-laws, William (Alice) Enright, Lawrence Enright, Alene (Don) Miller, Ginny (Gene) Rummel, Verena (Jim) Schafer.

There will be no formal funeral services. A private burial will be held at later date.
