LETTER: Take a break Republicans

Prior to the two Bush Administrations, the Middle East was for the most part quiet and relatively peaceful.  Iran and Iraq would occasionally feud, but their power was in balance.

After Bush senior attacked Iraq, situations changed, and after Bush junior went to war with Iraq, the balance of power was eliminated. This created an out-of-control Iran. Today Iran is going nuclear, and the Middle East is in turmoil.

The Republican Party receives some of its financial support from the military industrial complex. These are the companies that develop weapon systems.  Most of the Bush neo-cons (War Mongers) are working for the Romney organization. They encourage wars and profit from them, at a horrible cost of blood and treasure.  That is one reason our country is in financial trouble.

When Osama Bin Laden announced to his people that he wanted to declare war on America, he said that he could win the war by accomplishing three things:

1. Create fear in the American population.

2. Create anarchy, division and hatred within the American population.

3. Put America into bankruptcy.

I wonder how that is working out for him?  What political party has assisted him?

It’s time to say no to the neo-cons, and to try to restore peace in the Middle East and the rest of the world.  It is time to invest in America, and to start nation building at home. Don’t allow your political party to tell you how to think, think for yourself.  Think about what is best for America and our children
