Catholic Central High School’s biggest annual fundraising event, the ’Topper Dinner and Auction, will be held at Veterans Terrace in Burlington on Nov. 5.
The evening begins with hors d’oeuvres and two silent auctions at 5:30 p.m., and continues with a gourmet dinner at 7 p.m., an oral auction, a raffle drawing for a 2011 Chevy Aveo (or $15,000 cash) and dancing.
The event includes raffles for a dozen other items, including an iPad2.
The dinner features a salad course, duet plate of beef and chicken entrees, dessert and complimentary glass of wine.
The ’Topper Dinner and Auction, in its 27th year, is the top annual fundraiser for Catholic Central High School. Tickets are $75 each or $150 per couple. For reservations, call Georgean Selburg at (262) 763-1518 by Oct. 27.
Items up for bid at the oral auction range from a Green Bay Packers helmet signed by Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers to sports tickets, exquisite dinners, vacation destinations and a CC stained glass window created especially for the event.
The drawing for a 2011 Chevy Aveo will be held at the end of the oral auction. Tickets for the car raffle are $100 each and may be purchased at Catholic Central or St. Mary’s rectory in Burlington. Only 600 tickets will be sold. The winner can choose $15,000 cash instead of the car.
If you prefer to have car raffle tickets mailed to you, call the school at (262) 763-1510.
