A Burlington area man is dead and another in critical condition Friday night after a piece of farming equipment tipped over on an area farm Friday afternoon.
According to Catholic Central High School officials, Clayton Weis – who drove school buses for athletic events for the school – died Friday afternoon. Area rescue and Flight for Life were summoned to the farm of Weis around 3 p.m. Friday afternoon after a piece of equipment apparently fell over and pinned both Weis and another man.
The second man, Russell Weis, was reported to be in critical condition at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin, according to several news outlets. There were no official details available on his condition.
According to an announcement before the start of CCHS’s football game Friday night, counselors and staff would be available Saturday morning at the school for any students who wished to see them.
