Theater troupe presents ‘Joseph’ at local church
The story of a young man, an amazing dream coat and his family will hit the stage at the Haylofters winter home this next week.
“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is the winter production for the theater troupe, with shows slated for Plymouth Congregational Church, Burlington.
Performances are Feb. 3-5 and Feb. 10-12. The Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m., with the Sunday shows at 2 p.m. Plymouth Church is at 124 West Washington Street.
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the Grater Tater (140 West Chestnut Street, Burlington), or at the door pending availability.

The show tells the story of Joseph, the favored son of Jacob, and his trials after his brothers decide to kill him. Joseph’s journey is told through music and song, with a satisfying resolution for everyone.
The musical is directed by Don Fresen, with Arlene Rodriguez serving as choreographer, Rachel Oldenburg as production assistant, Dylan Epping as the light/sound manager, Mackenzie Patten on lights and Anthony Mackie as wigmaster.
