On Saturday, Sept. 6, the Fox River C.A.U.S.E. (www.frcause.org) will hold its annual canoe cleanup. The mission is to clean up the area from the Fox River canoe launch to the Iron Bridge.
Tip-A-Canoe (www.tipacanoellc.com) has donated the canoes for this event and will be the starting point at 9 a.m. Beverages will be provided along with lunch at the Hilltop after the canoe cleanup.
This is a great event for students looking to fulfill a service project. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult.
