As part of the I-94 north-south freeway project, the state Department of Transportation will demolish the Highway C bridge over I-94 in Racine County forcing a series of overnight closures starting Friday.
The current schedule of closures to accomplish this work is as follows:
Friday, April 4
• Overnight full closure of I-94 east (southbound) at County Highway K.
• Overnight double lane closure on I-94 west (northbound) at Highway 20.
Monday, April 7
• Overnight full closure of I-94 east (southbound) at Highway K.
• Overnight full closure of I-94 west (northbound) at Highway 20.
Tuesday, April 8
• Overnight full closure of I-94 east (southbound) at Highway K.
• Overnight double lane closure on I-94 west (northbound) at Highway 20.
Wednesday, April 9
• Overnight full closure of I-94 east (southbound) at Highway K.
• Overnight full closure of I-94 west (northbound) at Highway 20.
Detour signz will be up during the full closures to guide travelers to an alternate route.
