Burlington resident James Plitzuweit recently found Aaron Rodgers’ “wallet” in a contest and charity effort sponsored by Associated Bank.
Plitzuweit found the wallet at the Associated Bank branch on Milwaukee Avenue. The lost wallet is part of a fan engagement promotion by the state’s largest bank.
Plitzuweit found the wallet by tracking clues posted on Associated’s Facebook and Twitter sites. Clues will continue to be posted for additional wallets on those social media sites until the middle of November.
For finding the wallet, Plitzuweit and a guest will be invited to an exclusive Associated Bank-hosted event in December where they will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the Packers’ star quarterback at Lambeau Field. Plitzuweit and other Wisconsin winners will also receive autographed merchandise and have a photo opportunity with Rodgers.
Approximately 100 Rodgers wallets await discovery at Associated branches and other prominent locations throughout the state.
At the conclusion of the promotion, Associated will donate $10,000 to the United Way.
