A Burlington area man has been charged with drunken driving for the sixth time after his probation agent allegedly saw him drinking alcohol.
Jim C. Rambicourt, 50, who lists Burlington and Lake Geneva addresses in court records, is charged operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, sixth offense, in Walworth County Circuit Court.
According to the criminal complaint filed in the case, police confronted Rambicourt at the Jackson Hole Bar and Grill in the Town of Lyons after his probation and parole agent allegedly saw him drinking alcohol.
Police said Rambicourt gave a false name and then got into his truck and attempted to drive away but was apprehended, according to a court document.
Rambicourt appeared in court July 3 where a judge established $10,000 signature bond and ordered him not to drink alcohol or enter establishments that sell or serve alcoholic beverages.
He was also charged with obstructing an officer and operating with a revoked license, both misdemeanors.
