Burlington High School and the Burlington Community Education Department will offer an ACT prep course through Wisconsin Test Prep this fall and spring.
The a 16-hour is course spread over seven sessions, focusing on English, math, reading and writing and science – the content areas of the exam.
Practice tests will be given weekly and scored, and explanations given for each question. The last week of the course will be a three-hour ACT practice exam on a Saturday morning.
Test scores are given to the students as well as correct answers. The curriculum uses actual ACT test problems.
The fall prep class will run Oct. 20 through Dec. 1 on Tuesdays, with no class the week of Thanksgiving. The prep test will be giving Saturday, Dec. 5, in preparation for the Dec. 12 ACT exam date.
The spring class will run April 26 to May 31 on Tuesdays, with the prep test on Saturday, June 4, in preparation for the June 11 test date.
All Tuesday night sessions will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the BHS library. The cost is $155.

Well after reading this I do not agree and would say as a Horlick rebel football parent it was a good game beside all the bad calls I have never seen a group of kids still play together after all the non sence and I speak my mind well and have no problem of saying when someone is wrong when they are wrong and right when they are right… I did not hear the comment that was said but can someone tell me, if it would of been OK if he Had said WHITE … well in burlington is it ok for you “people” to say whatever you want I sat there and those parents and comments to …My son plays football to play not to be looked at wrong because of the color of his skin and I knew coming to Burlington that something was going to happen because I have family there and I don’t visit because of people like you …. Coach fletcher is a GREAT coach and my son will not play for any other coach well he plays football…
