Two people were transported to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine after a single-car crash Wednesday night.
According to a press release from the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, the Racine County Communications Center received a 911 call at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The driver was traveling southbound on 67th Drive in Yorkville and did not stop for the stop sign at Highway 11.
The car then crashed into a ditch. Both the driver and a 9-year-old male passenger who was seatbelted in the back seat were injured and taken to the hospital.
