A pilot who authorities believe was spraying crops was injured Aug. 7 when his helicopter crashed in a farm field in the Town of Dover.
Racine County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a farm field just south of Highway 20 near Beaumont Avenue about 11:18 a.m., according to information released by the Sheriff’s Office.
The pilot was transported for treatment by Kansasville Rescue. Officials said the pilot’s injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
The crash remains under investigation and the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
No further updates were available as of Tuesday night.
