While the filing deadline and primary and general election dates are the same for the upcoming local spring election, there are also a number of variables at play for the school districts scattered throughout the Union Grove area.

Across Wisconsin, the deadline for filing candidacy paperwork in all local races is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5. The paperwork needs to be filed at the respective school district’s office.

If necessary, primary elections to narrow the playing field of candidates in a specific race will be held from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, at designated polling places in the Village of Union Grove and towns of Dover, Raymond and Yorkville. The general election will be held from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 5.

Below is a glimpse into local elections in the Union Grove area’s four K-8 feeder districts and Union Grove High School.
