A vacant mobile home in the Town of Burlington caught fire Sunday.
The Racine County Communications Center received a call shortly after noon on Sunday about a mobile home on fire at 174 Waters Edge Circle in the township.
Racine County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find heavy smoke and flames. Neighbors reported, however, that the home had been vacant “for some time.”
Fire personnel responded and put out the fire, and officials confirmed there were no occupants in the home.
The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation.
