A 78-year-old Town of Yorkville man died Nov. 10 after a crash on Highway A at 55th Drive in Yorkville.
Robert Skeans was taken to All Saints Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine following the crash, where he later died.
According to the press release from the Racine County Sheriff’s Department, Skeans was driving a Toyota Yaris and his vehicle collided with a Ford F150 pickup truck at the intersection.
Two others were involved in the accident – a passenger in Skeans’ vehicle and the driver of the Ford F150. All were taken to the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation, but alcohol, drugs and/or speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
