Charges made in Whitewater murder

The murder of a Burlington High School graduate Tuesday has resulted in the arrest of his brother in law.

According to a press release from the Whitewater Police Department, Alan Johnson – the brother of Kimberly Myszkewicz, whose husband, Ken, was killed Tuesday – allegedly confessed to killing Ken Myszkewicz.

The signed complaint stated that Kimberly’s father, Eric – the former Racine County Sheriff – found a .40 caliber Smith and Wesson pistol of his Tuesday uncleaned after being used. After informing police about the weapon, Eric Johnson allegedly called police and asked them to come to the residence.

Alan Johnson then allegedly told police he killed Ken Myszkewicz. Police allegedly found a shell casing from the gun at the crime scene, and the gun has been sent to the state crime lab for analysis.
