Graham Public Library, 1215 Main St., offers the following programs.
Adult programming
Village Ink Writer’s Guild meets Mondays at 6:30 p.m. This group is an opportunity for creative writers to come together and support one another, to take risks and develop skills and confidence as writers. Open meetings are held to share and inspire one other.
Book Discussion Group is for those who like to discuss books with other avid readers. Library staff will select a “book of the month,” and readers will meet to discuss ideas, interpretations, and opinions of the selected book. Group meetings are scheduled for the last Monday of the month at 1 p.m. Registration is required. This month’s book choice is “Some Luck” by Jane Smiley.
Energy Services for Racine County are held the second Tuesday of the month, January through March, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. People seeking home energy assistance should make an appointment by calling (262) 633-6000. Advise you’d like to come to Graham Public Library.
Free Movie Tuesday shows newly released movies the last Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m., at the library. The January movie title is “Little Boy: Believe in the Impossible.” A popcorn and water combo will be sold for $1.50. Registration is not required.
Children’s programming
Preschool Story Time is held Tuesdays at 10 a.m., and 1:30 p.m., and is designed for ages 2-4 with an adult/caregiver. Preschool Storytime includes simple stories and crafts for the active set. The 1:30 storytime is a repeat of the morning session.
Homeschool STEAM Time (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) with Ms. Kathy is held Wednesdays at 1 p.m. Homeschool children are welcome for stories and projects based on a weekly theme.
Lego Lab Family Night Returns the last Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Registration is required and limited to 20 children. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No drop-offs allowed.
Make-N-Take is every Friday between 10 a.m., and 3 p.m. Stop in with your preschooler and make a super simple, self-directed craft project free. Supplies and directions are provided.
