Here are the results of the contested local races from Tuesday’s election. All results are unofficial until certified following canvass.
Waterford Union High School District referendum
A referendum seeking nearly $10 million for maintenance and upgrades to facilities in the Waterford Union High School District passed by an unofficial one-vote margin, 2,310 to 2,309.
Town of Burlington referendum
An advisory referendum seeking input on whether to continue studying the prospect of incorporating the town into a village was voted down, 755 to 508.
Burlington 4th District Alderman
Incumbent Todd Bauman retains his seat over art instructor Frank Korb, 342 to 200.
Union Grove Village Board President
Longtime incumbent Mike Aimone retained his position against challenger Steve Wicklund by an unofficial total of 516 to 476.
Waterford Village Board Trustee
Newcomer Pat Goldammer emerged as the top vote-getter in a four-candidate race for three seats with 739 votes. Also elected were incumbents Troy McReynolds (714) and Tamara Pollnow (620). Incumbent Kathy Nargis lost her seat with 602 votes.
Union Grove Union High School Board
Newcomer Scott Katterhagen (1,605 votes) and incumbent Dawn Van Ess (1,218) won the two available seats on the high school board. Incumbent W. Steve McClelland (1,155) and Marcia Vlach Colsmith (642) came up short.
