In a summer full of music, the Coffee House at Chestnut and Pine is having another set of stars this week.

Amy Regan – a New York-based artist who has been touring the East Coast and Midwest this summer – performed Monday at the coffee house. Los Angeles-based recording artists AG and Garrison Starr will perform Friday at 7 p.m.

Opening for the group at 6 p.m. will be local group 1703 – the brother and sister act of Brandon and Rachel Dawley.

AG has been to the coffee house previously – performing then with Maia Sharp – and decided she wanted to come back.

This time, she will perform with Starr. AG, Starr and Sharp have all been working together on and off.

“It’s exciting to get new people, and then to bring some of these people back,” said coffee house General Manager Carly Rubach. “(AG) said she had a great time here the first time.”

Both artists will be interviewed on local radio station WBSD at 1 p.m. on Friday. Their music has been featured on “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Private Practice,” “One Tree Hill,” and “Gossip Girl,” among other shows.

“It’s great to continue to discover music with the Burlington community, together,” Rubach said.
