A Town of Lyons man is charged with six felony and two misdemeanor offenses after being found with nearly 13 pounds of marijuana and $20,000 cash in his Pleasant Street home.
Donald J. Puchalski III, 25, who has a Burlington address, was charged Feb. 1 in Walworth County Circuit Court with four counts of manufacturing or delivering marijuana, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the criminal complaint, police conducted controlled buys of THC wax from Puchalski at his home the weeks of Nov. 26, Dec. 11, Dec. 24 and Jan. 14. On each occasion, Puchalski sold 14 to 15 grams of THC wax to an informant, the complaint states.
On Jan. 18, police searched Puchalski’s home and found large plastic jars of raw marijuana, two large stacks of cash, a bag of suspected LSD, a bag of suspected psilocybin mushrooms and electronic THC cigarette cartridges, according to the complaint. Puchalski admitted selling marijuana in large quantities that he picked up from California and Colorado, the complaint states. Puchalski had about 5,800 grams – 12.69 pounds – of marijuana, eight tabs of LSD, 50 items of drug paraphernalia, 2.8 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms and $20,240 in cash, according to the complaint.
