Annual DRIVEN egg hunt set for Saturday at BHS

The gymnasium floor at Burlington High School will become a colorful mosaic of 14,000 eggs Saturday for the 12th annual DRIVEN Egg Hunt.

While most of the eggs contain treats, several will hold tickets for special prizes for the finders.

The event, which is open to children up to age 11, begins at 10 a.m. The egg hunt is broken down into four different age groups: 0-2 begins at 10:15 a.m.; 3-5 begins at 10:25 a.m.; 6-8 begins at 10:35 a.m.; and 9-11 begins at 10:45 a.m.

In addition to the egg hunt, the event will feature a variety of other activities, including a coloring book station, face painting, Easter tattoos and a chance to take photos with the Easter Bunny.

All participants will receive an Easter goodie bag. There will also be tickets available for a 50/50 raffle.

The event is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or personal care item for donation to Love Inc.

The annual egg hunt is organized by the DRIVEN club at Burlington High School.
