The 26th annual Breakfast With Santa and Elves, sponsored by the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is Saturday, Dec. 3. The first serving is at 9 a.m., and the second serving is at 11 a.m., at the Masonic Temple, 1021 – 11th Ave., Union Grove.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, Nov. 5, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Chamber of Commerce office in the Union Grove Municipal Center, 925 15th Avenue (corner of highways 11 and 45). Tickets are limited to 120 per serving time and sell out quickly. Remaining tickets (if any) will be sold during regular weekday office hours at the Chamber of Commerce.
Call 878-4606 before stopping in to make sure office staff are available. No tickets are available at the door.
Prices are: adults $6, 3-11 years $4, and infants-2 years $2. Each child receives a gift bag, so even babies need a ticket.
The menu includes orange juice, scrambled eggs, ham, cinnamon rolls, assorted muffins, milk, and coffee. Breakfast is served by costumed elves.
Doors open 30 minutes ahead of each breakfast serving time. Remember to bring a camera for a picture of your children or grandchildren with Santa and Mrs. Santa.
Watch for announcements of other Christmas Comes To Union Grove events. The Tree Lighting in Village Square is Thursday, Dec. 1.
The Holiday Gift and Craft Fair, The annual Cookie Walk and Shopping Sprees sign up will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3.
We will be collecting for the Hat and Mitten Tree at the Craft Fair, which will be held at the Union Grove Elementary School this year. The hats and mittens will be given to the Union Grove Food Pantry to distribute to those in need.
