‘Love Notes to God’ is the theme of the special musical worship service at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12. The Rev. Sue Leih will lead the congregation in sending God a special Valentine through music, prayer, story and a couple of surprise ways that will hopefully bless all participants.
The choir will sing “Wings of Your Love” and “The Greatest Joy” with flute accompaniment by student pastor Pamela Garside-Meyers.
Rhythm & Praise will sing “I’m Gonna Tell the Gospel Story” and “Live My Life For Love.”
Hims of Harmony will sing “Jesus Loves Me” and “Loving God, Loving Each Other” by Wm. and Gloria Gaither.
The KICK Choir (Kids In Christ’s Kingdom) will sing “Jesus Said to Love Everybody” and “Love One Another.” Solos will be “There Is A Way” sung by Scott Rabe and a vocal/guitar offering by Jeff Vyvyan. Guests are cordially invited.
Childcare is provided during the 10:15 a.m. service. The United Methodist Women will provide an opportunity to buy a sweet treat for your sweetheart, with a bake sale following both services. The 8 a.m. service is more informal with praise songs accompanied by guitar.
