The members of Union Grove Lodge No. 288 Free and Accepted Masons, with matching funds from the Wisconsin Masonic Foundation provided in part through gifts from Genevieve Collins, Estelle Jenkins, and George and Sara Walter, are proud to present grants of $500 each to Riley Mayer and Ryan Rebernick.
Riley Mayer
Riley is the daughter of Melissa and Craig Mayer of Racine. She will be attending the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa, this fall pursuing a degree in Nursing. She has been a member of the high school’s Key Club and Science Club, features editor of the school newspaper, Yearbook and Varsity Soccer Team.
She is a confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Racine and has helped with vacation bible schoiol at her grandmother’s church.
She also helped organize and participated with “Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure” Breast Cancer Awareness. She is grateful and proud of her high school achievements and is looking forward to college.
Riley also babysits and her hobbies include baking, computers, playing soccer, family time, going to the beach, boating, reading, travel, movies, hanging with friends and shopping.
Ryan Rebernick
Ryan is the son of Jim and Gail Rebernick of Caledonia and will be attending the University of Wisconsin Madison this fall. He is pursuing a degree in bio-chemistry, with a minor in math.
He was the Valedictorian of his graduating class and a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Key Club and Science Club.
Ryan also received the Principal’s Academic Excellence Award. He also wrestled and was on the high school’s track and field team.
He is currently an EMT with Raymond Fire and Rescue, is a regular blood donor, has helped serve spaghetti at the community meal held in Union Grove, and is a confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Oak Creek. Ryan is proud of his accomplishments and looks forward to achieving more in college.
Ryan works at Phantom Fire Works, helps with bailing hay and fieldwork. He enjoys weight lifting, canoeing, backpacking, travel, computers, reading and movies.
