UGUHS Band Director Alex Vincer was assisted Saturday by Haley Peronto as the Color Guard instructor. Katrina Hermann served as Drum Major and the Color Guard captains were Cally Hansen and Stephanie Phillips.
“I believe that marching band is a terrific activity for everyone involved,” Vincer said afterward.
“It encourages students to always think about themselves and their actions in a team setting, and allows them to express themselves musically and artistically for a large audience.”
The UGUHS marching band program strives to instill the values of dedication, responsibility, pride and teamwork in every student’s pursuit of musical and artistic excellence, Vincer added.
“I am proud to say that this mission is evident in every single student’s performance on the football field this season, ” Vincer said.
