The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department has recovered three of the vehicles stolen by murder suspect Andrew Obregon.
Officials said the vehicles were used in high-speed.chases and then abandoned by Obregon, who has been on the run since Oct. 2.
Here is the text of the news release issued by the department at 12:30 a.m. Saturday:
“Three of the vehicles believed to have been driven by Andrew Obregon during the high speed pursuits with Kenosha and Racine County Sheriff’s Deputies in recent weeks have been recovered.
“The 1988 Black Mustang.
“The 2015 White Ford Transit Van with green lettering.
“And the most recently pursued vehicle, a 2001 White Ford F350 dually pick-up truck.
“Sheriff Beth would like for the public to know that these vehicles have been successfully recovered and are no longer associated with Andrew Obregon. The search for Andrew Obregon continues.
“Additional media updates will continue this weekend as new information is available.”
Thank you for armed check points on 45 and 75. FYI big hole I was able to drive from Racine to Kenosha undetected. We keep wasting money on this. Us Marshall said they would help Kenosha to proud. As well as sheriff has ties to family. 8 days 3 high speed chases several helicopter trips still on the loose. Really. Thank you deputies but higher up get your head out of ass. I am professional tracker offered help. I’ll be surprise if he is caught on week two. Tax dollars being wasted.
Who isn’t allowing you to help? They just don’t want to pay I’m guessing.
@Paul REALLY! Would like for the officers to leave their big bad guns at home next time? IF you know the area as Obregon does, it would be easy to hide. You rip on the deputies and then thank them, followed by a comment I’m surprised the paper printed! (Didn’t you know back roads, find places no one knew were there when you were a kid?) Hunting just started and the corn fields are being harvested, thus more people in the woods and less access to hind from police.
why doesn’t Schmaling break out the anti personal carrier. It’s wasting tax dollars just sitting in the garage. When it could be out destroying some farmers field so Racine Co can waste more tax dollars chasing the one man crime wave
