In the Feb. 17 Dover Town Chairman primary election, voters selected incumbent Thomas Lembcke (100 votes, 46 percent) and former supervisor Mario Denoto (83, 38 percent).
Eliminated in Tuesday’s vote was resident Mario Lena (31, 14 percent). Lena ran a campaign promising to root out what he alleged to be 22 years of fraud, abuse of power, theft of funds and misconduct in office in Dover.
Both Lembcke and Denoto now advance to the April 7 spring election, where voters will decide which one should serve as Dover Town Chairman.
