The Union Grove Village Board approved an updated slate of committee appointments at its April 24 meeting.
Newly elected Trustee Jan Winget was assigned to serve on the Library and Building boards and the Administration Committee. Additionally, she will chair the Plan Commission.
Other appointments include assigning Trustee Gordon Svendsen to the Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Streets and Parks Committee.
In addition to Winget, the Administration Committee will also include Trustees Alan Jelinek and Tim Mallach.
Svendsen will chair the Finance Committee, alongside Jelinek and Trustee Chris Gallagher.
Clerk-Treasurer Jill Kopp said some of the appointments have been shifted because of internal staffing decisions within village hall.
“Gordon will now chair the Community Development Authority,” Kopp wrote in an email. “The executive director of the CDA will be filled by the hiring of a village administrator.”
The composition of the rest of the village’s boards, committees and commissions are unchanged at this time, Kopp said.

Additionally, Central Racine staffers completed 1,239 inspections at 774 licensed establishments throughout the agency’s footprint, which blankets almost all of the smaller communities. Racine has its own department.
Central Racine’s coverage area in recent years has expanded, following the unwinding of the now-defunct Western Racine County Health Department, which served a number of municipalities near Burlington.
