A 35-year-old Union Grove man allegedly ran over his wife’s ankle with his truck during an argument Sunday.
Deputies were called to the 700 block of Vine Street in Union Grove at about 10:45 p.m. Sunday after a woman reported that her husband had run her over. The 46-year-old woman was lying on the porch of a home bleeding heavily from her ankle, according to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman told police an argument led her husband to leave the driveway quickly and drive his truck over her, according to deputies. She was taken to Aurora Memorial Hospital in Burlington and treated for a compound fracture to her right ankle.
Her husband was found later that evening and arrested for second-degree recklessly endangering safety and substantial battery.
